Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping with Pet Print Labs. This Shipping Policy explains how shipping and delivery work for our products.

Because our products are made to order, production time comes before shipping time. Delivery timing depends on the type of product you order, whether your order is Template Swap or Fully Custom, and the shipping destination.

Unless otherwise stated, business day estimates in this policy do not include weekends or holidays.

Where We Ship

Physical products

At launch, physical products are available for shipping within Canada only.

This includes:

  • T-shirts

  • Canvases

We do not currently ship physical products outside Canada.

Digital products

Digital products are available worldwide and are delivered electronically, not by mail.

Order Types and Timing

Template Swap

Template Swap is produced from your selected design and uploaded pet photos. It does not include a proof preview. This helps keep turnaround faster.

For physical Template Swap orders, we aim to create your image and send your order-produced confirmation email within 24–48 hours after we have everything we need from you.

Fully Custom

Fully Custom includes a proof preview before final delivery or printing.

For Fully Custom orders, we aim to create your image and send your first proof email within 24–48 hours after we have everything we need from you. Final timing depends on how quickly proof approval and any included edits are completed.

Physical Fully Custom orders are only sent to print after approval is received.

Production Time vs Shipping Time

Your order may go through two stages:

  1. Production — we create your artwork and, for physical products, prepare or submit the print-ready file.

  2. Shipping — for physical products, your order is printed, packed, and shipped by our fulfillment partner after production is complete.

Shipping time starts after production and printing begin. It does not include the time needed for artwork creation, proof review, customer response delays, or production queue time.

Physical Orders (Canada Only)

All physical products are made to order and fulfilled after artwork is completed.

For physical orders:

  • We verify that the shipping address is in Canada before fulfillment.

  • Template Swap orders move to print after internal quality control.

  • Fully Custom orders move to print only after customer proof approval.

  • Tracking will be provided when available after the order has shipped.

Estimated production and carrier transit times may vary depending on product type, seasonality, carrier performance, and fulfillment conditions.

Estimated timelines for physical products

These estimates begin after we have the information and pet photos needed to complete the order.

T-shirt

  • Pet Print Labs image creation: 24–48 hours

  • Print production: 1–2 business days

  • Shipping: 2–5 business days

  • Estimated total: 5–9 business days

Canvas

  • Pet Print Labs image creation: 24–48 hours

  • Print production: 2–3 business days

  • Shipping: 2–5 business days

  • Estimated total: 6–10 business days

Shipping rates

Shipping charges for physical products are $12 at checkout. Orders of $75 or more qualify for free shipping.

Some or all underlying fulfillment shipping costs may already be reflected in product pricing.

Any applicable taxes, duties, or additional charges shown at checkout are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise stated.

Digital Delivery (Worldwide)

Digital orders are fulfilled electronically.

For digital orders:

  • No physical shipment is sent

  • No shipping address is required unless otherwise needed for billing

  • Final files are delivered by download link, email, or your selected digital delivery method

Digital orders are typically completed within 24–48 hours after we have everything we need from you.

If you purchased a Fully Custom digital product, final delivery happens after proof approval. If you purchased a Template Swap digital product, final delivery happens after internal quality control.

Delays

We aim to keep turnaround fast and clear, but delays can happen.

Possible causes of delay include:

  • missing or low-quality pet photos

  • incomplete customization details

  • slow proof approval responses

  • revision requests on Fully Custom orders

  • high order volume

  • print production delays

  • carrier delays

  • weather or other events outside our control

If your order is meaningfully delayed, we will do our best to send an update.

Incorrect Addresses

Please make sure your shipping address is correct before placing your order.

We are not responsible for delays, losses, or extra charges caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses entered at checkout. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible at petprintlabs@gmail.com. We will try to help before the order is submitted for production, but changes may not always be possible once fulfillment has started.

Tracking

For physical orders, tracking information will be provided once available after shipment.

Please allow some time for tracking to update after a label is created.

Digital orders do not include shipping tracking.

Damaged, Lost, or Wrong Items

If your physical order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at petprintlabs@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • your order number

  • a short description of the issue

  • clear photos of the item

  • clear photos of the packaging, if relevant

We will review the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or other resolution in line with our Refunds & Returns Policy.

Split Shipments

Some physical orders may arrive in separate packages depending on the products ordered, fulfillment routing, or production timing.

If that happens, tracking may be provided in more than one shipment update.
