Photo Guide
The better your photo, the better your final artwork can be.
We create every custom artwork using the photo you upload with your order. While we can work with most photos, following a few simple guidelines helps us create the best possible final result.
Good VS Bad Photos
Good Photos
- Clear view of face and eyes
- Good lighting
- Sharp focus
- True fur colour
- Close enough for detail
Bad Photos
- Blurry picture
- Too dark
- Too far away
- Face hidden
- Missing unique detail
What Makes a Good Photo
Upload 1–2 clear photos per pet
Make sure the face and eyes are easy to see
Show clear markings and fur colours
For the best quality, try to upload the original photo file whenever possible — screenshots and images saved from social media are usually lower resolution and may reduce final detail.
What to Avoid
Face and Paws are Hard to See
Multiple Pets Guidance
We can absolutely work with multiple pets, a few clear reference photos help us capture each pet more accurately.
- Upload 1–2 clear photos of each pet
- If possible, include one photo showing them together
- If they are together make sure both pets meet the Good Photos criteria
What Happens if your Photo is Unusable
If the uploaded photo is too blurry, dark, or hard to use, we’ll contact you and ask for a better one before moving forward.
